Pete Brooks has been the student pastor of Church at the Cross since October 2007.  He has been involved in student ministry since 1990.

Pete and his wife have been married since 1991.  They have a son who is in elementary school.  Pete loves to have fun and often laughs at himself!  He loves lazy Saturday mornings at home with his family; playing tennis, basketball, and golf; traveling; hanging out at Buon Giorno’s Coffee House with friends; and going to see students' events in our community!

Pete's family has a desire to see students in our community impacted by the love of Christ.   They hope to see our students compelled to love God with all their hearts and love people with the same passion that Jesus did!  The goal of our student ministry is to reach more and more students in our surrounding community with God’s love and see them become a part of our family.  We believe that there is always room for one more and every week we like to say, “If you come one time, then you’re a part of the family.”  In this family environment, our desire is to see students experience God in such a way that they don’t just survive in life, but they thrive!
